Why Prompt Gallery

Stop digging through old chats for the prompt that worked.

Good prompts end up scattered across chat histories, docs, notes apps and messages. Prompt Gallery gives them one home, so the version that worked is always a few keystrokes away.

Lost in chat historyOne searchable library
Every prompt you rely on lives in one place, instead of ten tabs, a notes app and your memory.
Rewritten from memoryReused word for word
Copy the exact wording that got great results, with the blanks filled in for today’s task.
Improvements overwrittenEvery version kept
Refine prompts freely. Earlier versions are saved, so you can compare and roll back.

Features

Built to stay fast at 10 prompts or 1,000

Organize however you think, then find anything in seconds. The more prompts you save, the more useful it gets.

Organize

Organize it your way, or several ways at once

Collections say where a prompt lives, categories say what kind it is, and tags cover everything else. Use one system or combine them; nothing forces you into a single hierarchy.

  • Nested collections up to five levels deep, like Work › Marketing › Launch
  • Color-coded categories with icons, plus as many tags as you need
  • Favorites and pins keep your go-to prompts on top
  • Archive old prompts without deleting them

Find

Find any prompt in seconds

Search covers titles, descriptions, prompt text and tags, and ranks the best matches first. Narrow results down with filters, then save the combination as a view.

  • Exact phrases in “quotes” and exclusions with -minus
  • Combine collection, category, tag and favorite filters
  • Smart lists for recently used, most used and unsorted prompts
  • A ⌘K command palette that works from anywhere

Reuse

Templates that fill themselves in

Write a prompt once with {{variables}}, then fill in the blanks each time you copy it, with a live preview of the final text.

  • Defaults like {{tone|friendly}} keep most fields optional
  • Values you type are remembered while you work
  • Copy counts and last-used dates surface your best prompts

History

Every version, kept

Each edit saves a version with an optional note. Compare any two versions line by line and restore an earlier one in a click.

  • Automatic history of the 100 most recent versions of each prompt
  • Line-by-line comparison shows exactly what changed
  • Restoring adds a new version, so nothing is ever lost

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Send us a message.

Is Prompt Gallery free?

Yes. There are no plans, payments or ads. Sign in with Google and start saving prompts.

Who can see my prompts?

Only you. Your library is private to your account, there’s no public sharing, and every request is checked against your account on the server.

Which AI tools does it work with?

All of them. Prompts are plain text, so you can paste them into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Midjourney or anything else that takes a prompt.

How do template variables work?

Wrap a word in double curly braces, like {{topic}}, or add a default with {{tone|friendly}}. When you copy the prompt, a small form asks for the values and shows a live preview.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Your library lives in the cloud, so it’s the same wherever you sign in.

What happens when I edit a prompt?

Each change to the text is saved as a version. You can compare versions line by line and restore an earlier one at any time. The 100 most recent versions of each prompt are kept.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings and choose Delete account. Your prompts, collections, categories, tags and sessions are removed permanently. You can also sign out of every device from the same page.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Use the contact form. Every message is read, and replies go to the email address you provide.
